Health through Acupuncture - serving Galway and Barna
Acupuncture is an ancient art of healing that uses very thin needles on specific points on the body to facilitate the body’s ability to heal itself. Integral to this healing is the concept of Qi – Qi can be described as life energy. If the body’s Qi is out of balance, this can create ill health and/or pain. By inserting fine needles into the channels of Qi, an acupuncturist can stimulate the body’s own healing response and help restore its natural equilibrium. Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine are based on a holistic philosophy of health and well being. This means that the body, mind, and spirit are treated as one.
